Wellness Investments I'd Buy Again Tomorrow
Aug 19, 2026
The things I actually think are worth the money.
There is so much in the wellness world that promises to change your life.
The newest supplement.
The latest gadget.
The $300 cream.
The biohacking trend everyone suddenly swears by.
Honestly? Most of it isn't necessary.
If you've followed me for any length of time, you know I believe the foundation of health will always be the "boring" things:
- Eating enough protein.
- Strength training.
- Walking.
- Sleeping.
- Managing stress.
- Building healthy relationships.
- Spending time outside.
Those things will always give you the greatest return on investment.
But after years of coaching hundreds of women, navigating my own thyroid issues, infertility, pregnancy, hormone imbalances, and building a wellness business, there are a handful of things that I truly believe are worth spending money on.
Not because they're trendy.
Because they actually improve the quality of my life.
These are the things I'd happily buy again tomorrow.
1. Comprehensive Functional Bloodwork
If I could recommend only one investment, this would be it.
Hands down.
Most people are trying to fix symptoms without ever understanding why they're happening.
They're exhausted.
They're gaining weight.
Their hair is thinning.
Their periods are changing.
Their anxiety is worse than ever.
So they buy another supplement...
Another workout program...
Another hormone-balancing tea...
...without ever asking what's actually happening inside their body.
Your lab work is the roadmap.
It tells us whether your fatigue is coming from low iron, thyroid dysfunction, insulin resistance, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, chronic stress, hormone imbalance—or often, a combination of several things.
Instead of guessing, we can make decisions based on data.
At Raeya, we perform comprehensive functional lab reviews in person here in Las Vegas. Through WBK, I also work with clients across the country by coordinating comprehensive bloodwork and reviewing it together virtually, so geography doesn't have to be a barrier to understanding your health.
This isn't about being told your labs are "normal."
It's about understanding whether they're optimal.
Because there is a huge difference between surviving and actually feeling like yourself again and the ONLY way you can get results is when you know whats wrong in the first place.
If you've been saying, "I know something feels off," this is where I would start before spending money anywhere else.
Knowledge is one of the few wellness investments that continues paying you back for years.

- Non-Toxic Cookware
We use almost exclusively Caraway and Our Place cookware.
Do I think one pan is going to make or break your health?
No.
But I do believe in reducing unnecessary exposures where we reasonably can.
We cook nearly every meal in these pans.
That's thousands of meals every year.
Many traditional non-stick pans contain PFAS, often referred to as "forever chemicals," because they remain in the environment—and in our bodies—for an incredibly long time.
Will switching cookware magically balance your hormones?
Of course not.
But when you think about all of the little choices we make every day, they add up over decades.
This one was an easy yes for our family.
- Medical-Grade Skincare
I've tried enough skincare over the years to know that expensive doesn't automatically mean effective.
The brands I consistently come back to are Epicutis and Biologique Recherche.
Healthy skin starts with healthy skin function.
Rather than constantly chasing the newest product, I'd rather invest in products that support my skin barrier, reduce inflammation, improve collagen production, and actually help my skin become healthier over time.
Less clutter.
Better ingredients.
Better results.
- My Oura Ring (and yes, I love the cover for it!!)
People often ask if I look at my Oura score every morning.
Honestly?
Not really.
What I pay attention to are the trends.
Am I recovering?
Am I pushing too hard?
How did that glass of sugar affect my sleep?
What happens when I prioritize an earlier bedtime?
It helps me make decisions that support my body instead of fighting against it.
Your body is always giving you feedback.
Sometimes technology simply helps you hear it a little sooner.
- My At-Home Red Light Helmet
Hair health is one of the first things to change when our hormones, thyroid, stress levels, or nutrient status become less than optimal.
While we always want to address the root cause first, I've found red light therapy to be one of the best tools for supporting healthier hair growth alongside those foundational changes.
It's not a quick fix.
Healthy hair never is.
But consistency matters.
- Plated Skin Science
If I had to choose one skincare product to keep, this might be it.
Plated uses regenerative growth factor technology to support your skin's natural healing and repair process.
I notice healthier texture, faster recovery after treatments, brighter skin, and I also use their scalp serum to support hair growth.
It's definitely an investment.
But it's one I continue to repurchase because I genuinely notice the difference.
- May Lindstrom Body Oil
This one has changed my skin after coming out of the shower or bath. Like the hydration is like no other product I’ve ever used before.
It's also about slowing down.
Every evening after I shower, I take a few extra minutes to massage it into my skin.
Those few minutes have become part of my nervous system routine.
Sometimes wellness isn't another supplement.
Sometimes it's teaching your body that it's safe enough to slow down.
- Bala Bangles
These are proof that movement doesn't have to happen inside a gym.
I wear them while walking.
Doing Pilates.
Sometimes around the house.
Adding just a little extra resistance throughout the day is one of the easiest ways I've found to increase movement without feeling like I'm adding another workout.
- Our Traditional Dry Sauna
This is one of the best purchases we've made for our home.
Not because I believe it "detoxes" everything.
Because it's become a recovery ritual.
Sauna sessions support circulation, cardiovascular health, muscle recovery, stress resilience, and sleep quality.
More importantly...
They force me to slow down.
And that's probably the biggest benefit.
- Our Plunge Cold Plunge
I'll never be excited about getting in.
But I've also never regretted getting out.
It wakes me up.
Improves my focus.
Challenges me mentally.
And reminds me every morning that I can do hard things.
That mindset carries into the rest of my day.
- The Hume Body Pod
One of my favorite pieces of technology.
Because the scale tells us almost nothing.
The Body Pod measures body composition—muscle mass, body fat percentage, visceral fat, hydration, and metabolic health.
As women, our goal shouldn't simply be weighing less.
It should be building stronger, healthier, more resilient bodies.
Watching your muscle increase while body fat decreases—even if the scale barely moves—is incredibly empowering.
- Momentous Creatine + Collagen
These are two supplements I take consistently because they support the things that become even more important as we age.
Creatine isn't just for bodybuilders.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that it's only meant to help you build muscle. While it absolutely supports lean muscle mass and strength, the research on creatine continues to grow beyond the gym. It supports exercise performance, recovery, healthy aging, and even cognitive function.
As women, we naturally begin losing muscle mass in our 30s, and that process accelerates through perimenopause and menopause. Maintaining muscle isn't just about aesthetics—it's one of the strongest predictors of long-term health, metabolic function, bone density, and independence as we age.
I personally take Momentous Creatine every day because building and preserving muscle is one of the best investments I can make in my future.
I also use their Collagen Peptides daily.
Collagen won't replace eating enough protein, but it can be a great addition to an already protein-rich diet. I primarily use it to support healthy skin, stronger hair, nails, connective tissue, and joint health. It's an easy way to add a little extra protein to my morning coffee or smoothie while supporting the tissues that naturally produce less collagen as we get older.
Like almost everything else on this list, neither of these supplements is a magic solution.
They're simply small habits that, over years of consistency, can make a meaningful difference.
The Common Theme
You'll notice something about everything on this list.
None of these things replace the basics.
They're simply tools that help support them.
They're investments in understanding my body, recovering better, reducing unnecessary exposures, and making it easier to stay healthy for decades—not just for today.
I've also become much more intentional about where I spend my money.
I'd rather buy fewer things that genuinely improve my health than constantly chase the next wellness trend.
Because after all these years, here's what I've learned:
The most expensive thing isn't buying quality products.
The most expensive thing is waiting until you're completely burned out, exhausted, inflamed, and wondering why you don't feel like yourself anymore.
Your health isn't a luxury.
It's the foundation for every other part of your life.
And that's something I'll never regret investing in.
P.S. I purposely left out almost everything we offer at Raeya because I think those deserve a newsletter of their own. 😉
